We’re firm believers that simplicity is radical, which is why we’re always keeping tabs on women who think like us: The ones that push the boundaries of “basic” and make less *actually* feel like more. Ahead, we’re sharing four of our favorite bloggers who are doing just that. Read on!

Sara Donaldson, Harper & Harley

There is perhaps no other blogger who singularly embodies ‘minimalist cool’ quite like Sara Donaldson of Harper and Harley. The Australian-based influencer (she has 529,000+ Instagram followers and counting) has made a name for herself thanks to her rigorously minimalist standards, particularly when it comes to fashion: When dressing, she adheres nearly exclusively to a palette of black, white, grey, and blue. While this might seem austere or boring in less capable hands, Sara masterfully navigates minimalism by selecting pieces with radical details and one-of-a-kind flourishes. Her taste is so good, in fact, that she recently launched her own online shop, The UNDONE. Consider us sold.

While Sara might use minimalism for sartorial inspiration, Erin Boyle, the Brooklynite behind Reading My Tea Leaves, lives and breathes a less-and-more lifestyle. It begins with her “tiny” apartment, which is meticulously edited – and decorated – to make space for only her beloved essentials. Aside from decorating, her blog showcases her latest adventures in minimalism: From traveling light to raising a baby simply. Her genuine, stripped-down approach is articulated in her recent book, Simple Matters, winning her legions of followers. Including us!
Dana Shultz, Minimalist Baker

We’re about minimalism in all aspects of our lives – and that includes food, too. Blogger and chef Dana Shultz takes this philosophy to new – and utterly delicious – levels with her website, Minimalist Baker. Using up to ten ingredients (and no more than that), she creates recipes that require only one bowl and take 30 minutes or less to prepare. How’s that for simple? Thankfully, these recipes are far from basic: They’re largely plant-based, free from refined sugar, and often gluten-free too: Think yumminess like Sun-dried Tomato Chickpea Burgers, Mocha Milkshakes, and Roasted Vegetable Quinoa Bowls. Okay, now we’re hungry…
Mija Flatau, Mija

Mija Flatau describes her style as a mixture of “minimalism and Cali laid-back,” which is pretty much spot-on. A native of Munich who moved to California in her twenties, Mija effortless blends European sophistication with West Coast cool. Accordingly, her wardrobe reflects this mash-up of influences: No one does a white tee, black leather jacket, and ripped jeans quite like Mija. Fittingly, her Instagram account (which has over 850,000 followers) is a laid-back minimalist’s dream – and a total must follow.
